The Potter’s Wheel or Hand-Building

Play With Clay $65 Per Person.

Come play with Clay!
This guided session gives students a chance to experience working with clay either on the Potter’s Wheel or Hand-Building.

Project’s and outcome’s are unique to each person’s idea’s and experience level.
Most student’s are able to make one main project or one to three smaller projects during the 2 -Hour hands-on session allowing time for clean up!

You build it and we trim, glaze, and add your name to the bottom of it.

All tools and supplies are included.
Bring your own snacks and beverages if you wish.

Note:
Clay is messy and unpredictable. Please wear appropriate clothing/shoes. Bring an open mind, the wheel can be challenging and the outcome’s are unpredictable at first. Sometimes, things do not turn out perfectly. That is simply the nature of clay. But, don’t let that deter you from giving it a try!

Turnaround time on your finished project vary. It’s a process, so please be patient.

Private Lessons Advanced Students

Private lessons $85 Per Session

Perhap’s, you want to learn the entire process of making pottery. These session’s are geared toward students who want to refine their pottery skills and learn the process of making pottery from beginning to end.

Over several weeks, you will learn how to make, trim, decorate and glaze your pots.

Depending on how many weeks you reserve, you will also learn how to load and fire your pottery in the kiln.

We meet for 3-hour sessions each week. The amount of week’s vary as that is determined by each individual’s pace of learning, interest, and skill level. Usually, 7-12 weeks is a good start!
